I have had the pleasure of working with Poppy Flowers in the DMV area many times, and each time I am genuinely blown away. Not only are they extremely affordable, but they are helpful, professional and truly artistic. We love the Poppy team :)

Michelle at Poppy Flowers was a dream to work with from start to finish. She responded quickly to every question we had and made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free. The flowers she designed for our wedding day were absolutely gorgeous—every arrangement turned out exactly how we pictured it. From the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, everything was fresh and beautiful. We felt like we got incredible value for what we paid, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting the florals. We'd definitely book with Poppy Flowers again and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a florist who truly cares about making your day special!!!

Working with Poppy saved me a lot of time and money, while providing me a seemless process that supported local businesses through their partnerships. I loved having a web page where I could co-design with my florist, and create a vision. I would recommend then time and time again!

The flowers were beautiful and got so many compliments. I ended up with nine bouquets, one boutonniere, and four flower clouds. It was nice to book with Poppy because I could choose florals a la carte instead of having to commit to a whole package.

I took a leap of faith on Poppy and it paid off 100%. Not only did my flowers look absolutely out of my dreams, they lasted a good few days after, and fit my vision perfectly. I just gave my designer, Alysa, my vision and she delivered above and beyond. She was also very communicative and accommodating. And best of all they fit my budget exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend.

We chose Poppy Flowers for our wedding and couldn't be happier with that decision. They responded to our messages quickly, which made the planning process so smooth and stress-free. The floral arrangements they created were breathtaking and captured exactly what we had envisioned for our big day. Our bouquets and centerpieces became the focal point of our wedding—guests haven't stopped mentioning them in photos and conversations. The quality of their work truly exceeded our expectations, and we felt we got incredible value for what they delivered. We'd absolutely recommend Poppy Flowers to any couple looking for a florist who listens, communicates well, and creates stunning arrangements.

Most couples spend about 8-10% of their total wedding budget on flowers. Florists set minimums for the size of weddings they will design and, in some markets, minimums can be as high as $5,000 - $10,000. Poppy has much lower minimums as we are "farm to florist." This means that we source directly from farms and send to our local floral designers. Poppy works with you to understand your highest priorities and always presents you with ideas and solutions at multiple price points, so you can choose the option that fits your budget without ever compromising on quality or style.
Oh goodness, $5,000 is more than enough! We want your day to be beautiful, not break the bank. Here at Poppy, we can work floral magic starting at $1,750. Poppy couples typically spend around $2,800 on their wedding flowers. Our talented designers pride themselves on gorgeously customized flowers within any budget.
We know wedding planning involves juggling a million details, so let us make planning your flowers easy. At Poppy, we recommend finalizing your dream wedding flowers at least 3 months before the big day. Booking early locks in your florals so you can check one big thing off your list.
