Wendi

Flowers started as a class Wendi took to relax. The class led to an internship, and the internship turned into a business: Sweetness & Light Flowers & Events, which she opened as a storefront in Benicia, California, in January 2020. When the pandemic stopped weddings that spring, she kept the shop going by delivering wrapped bouquets door to door to subscribers in Benicia and Vallejo.

She also co-hosts Transactional Love, a podcast about the real costs of running a small retail business.

With couples, she plans collaboratively. She digs into what makes their day theirs and works through the practical problems alongside the design.
