Sherri

Sherri found flowers through a part-time job at a flower shop in her senior year of college. She studied set design at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and that training stayed with her: when she bought a shop and made it her own as Lee Floral Design, custom weddings and events became her specialty.

After stepping back to raise her young family, she came back to flowers in Lincoln, Omaha and eventually Austin, Texas, and has seen the business from just about every side since, from buying wholesale to freelancing for other designers to running shops.

The part of the work she cares about most is the connection: getting close enough to each couple to turn their vision into a celebration that means something to them. Her favorite flower is the ranunculus.
