“Picture a couple hiding under one veil, trying to keep the world out. That’s the epitome of this trend,” says Rebecca.
“It’s a celebration of one’s self: all you need is each other and your best friends.”
In wedding preparation land, we’re seeing more civil ceremonies (“civils”), Elvis, photo booths, roadside chapels, diners, and mini-dresses for wedding dresses.“ Weddings with that Vegas spirit are much like the city itself: lively, exciting, and full of surprises.
“The pandemic gave us the micro wedding. The Vegas State of Mind takes the low-key aspects of the micro wedding and adds a bit of sass and sparkle,” says Rebecca. “And it’s here to stay.”
Our data shows that lovebirds in Knoxville, TN are opting for microweddings in big numbers with an average budget spend of $1,600. Proving that the saying “good things come in small packages” rings true for weddings too!
